Yes! You can clone any text message within your Messages.
Our customers have shared that having templated messages for specific situations, especially for crisis communications, would be helpful. To support this in your Workshop account, we recommend creating draft text messages tailored to these situations. You can then easily clone these drafts for future use, helping you respond more quickly and effectively during a crisis or emergency.
How do I clone a text message?
Navigate to Text > Messages within top navigation bar
Locate the message you want to clone & hover over that message which will display a 3dot menu on the text message
Click into this 3dot menu and you will see an option for 'Clone text'
Once you click 'Clone text', you can choose to just clone the message or clone & edit. Clone & edit will take you directly into the text message to make changes to the original message.
What will clone from my text message?
- Message body of your text message
- Name of the text message
- Recipients on the text message
You have the ability to edit all of these within your cloned text message before scheduling or sending out.
