To ensure all recipients receive the email as intended, always send it directly from Workshop instead of forwarding it. If you need to share an email with additional recipients after it has already been sent:
- Clone the email, and publish the email to the additional recipients
- Send the additional recipients the shareable webpage link that is created after publishing an email
What happens if an email is forwarded?
When using Workshop to send internal communications, it’s important to ensure that emails display correctly for all recipients. Forwarding emails sent from Workshop can cause unintended formatting issues due to how email clients, particularly Outlook, handle forwarded HTML emails.
- Formatting Issues: Forwarding can distort the original layout, leading to broken buttons, misplaced text, or other unexpected design changes.
- Preview Text Alterations: Outlook may add unintended preview text to the forwarded email, which can affect how the email appears in recipients' inboxes.
By following these best practices, you can maintain the integrity of your email’s design and ensure a consistent experience for all recipients. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to help@useworkshop.com!
