Setting up a connector in Exchange Admin Center

Creating the connector
To allow Workshop emails to route correctly through Microsoft 365, you'll need to create a mail flow connector in the Exchange Admin Center (EAC).
- Sign in to the Exchange Admin Center.
- Navigate to Mail flow → Connectors.
- Select Add a connector.
Configuring connection settings
On the New connector page, set the following:
- Connection from: Select
Your organization's email server - Connection to: This will automatically populate as
Office 365and cannot be changed
Select Next to continue.
Naming your connector
On the Connector name page:
- Enter a name for the connector (e.g., Workshop Mail Flow)
- Confirm that Turn it on is checked
- Confirm that Retain internal Exchange email headers is unchecked
Select Next to continue.
Authenticating sent email
On the Authenticating sent email page, you'll specify which IP addresses are authorized to send mail through this connector.
- Select the option to authenticate by IP address.
- Enter Workshop's sending IP addresses. You can find the full list of Workshop delivery server IPs here: Workshop delivery servers
- Add each IP address as listed.
Select Next to continue.
Reviewing and creating the connector
On the Review connector page:
- Confirm all settings look correct, including the connection direction, connector name, and IP addresses
- Select Create connector to finalize
Once created, the connector will be active and Workshop emails will be routed through your Microsoft 365 environment.
