What copying a row does
In the modern editor, you can copy an entire row of content — including all the text, images, and blocks inside it — from one email and paste it into another. This is useful when you want to reuse a section, like a highlight or announcement, across multiple emails without rebuilding it from scratch.
Copying a row brings over all of its content and styling. Once pasted, the row becomes part of the new email and can be edited independently from the original.
Copying a row
- Open the email that contains the row you want to copy, and click into the row to select it. A blue outline appears around the row when it's selected.
- Right-clicking the row does not give you a copy option, so use your keyboard shortcut instead: Cmd+C (Mac) or Ctrl+C (Windows).
- A "Row copied" confirmation appears in the bottom-right corner, letting you know the row is ready to paste.
Pasting a row into another email
- Open the email where you want to add the copied row.
- Click into an existing row in that email, then paste using Cmd+V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Windows).
- A blue line appears, showing exactly where the row will be placed. Click the blue line at the position you want.
- A "Row pasted" confirmation appears, and the copied row is added to the email at the selected position.
- Save your changes or continue editing the email as needed.
Tips
- You don't need to add a blank row before pasting — you can select a position between any existing rows, or above or below them.
- Pasted rows are fully editable, so you can update text, images, or styling after they've been added without affecting the original row.
- This works across any two emails in the modern editor, including regular and automated emails.
