What is a page link?
A page link connects a word or phrase in your email to an existing Workshop page, such as a benchmarks report or a resource page you've built in Workshop. When a recipient clicks the linked text, it opens the page in a new browser tab. Adding a page link works the same way as adding any other link to text in your email.
Adding a pages link to your email
- Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
- Select the link icon to open the link menu. You can use either the link icon in the floating text toolbar that appears below your selected text, or the link icon in the top text toolbar.
- In the link menu, give your link an internal name (optional — this is only shown within Workshop) and use the Link type dropdown to choose how you want to link out.
- From the Link type dropdown, select Workshop Page
- Use the Workshop Page search field to find the page you want to link to. Type to search, or use the dropdown to browse your existing pages.
- Select the page you want to link to, then select Save.
- Your selected text now displays as a link. Recipients who click it will be taken to that page in a new browser tab.
Tip: Not sure which page you're looking for? Start typing a keyword from the page name in the search field — matching pages will appear in the dropdown as you type.
