What are audit logs
Audit logs provide Workshop admins with a detailed record of key activity within your account. Each entry captures who performed an action and when it occurred, giving your organization a clear and reliable history of important changes.
Audit logs are particularly valuable when you need to:
Support security and compliance reviews by providing documented evidence of account access and administrative changes.
- Investigate unexpected changes to users, groups, or permissions by identifying when a change was made and who made it.
- Maintain visibility into how your Workshop account is being used across your organization.
What's included
Workshop records the following categories of activity in audit logs:
Login activity
Records each instance of a user logging in to your Workshop account. This information can help you confirm account access and identify unusual login behavior.
Scheduling and publishing emails and text messages
Records when an email or text message is scheduled or published, providing a clear record of when communications were prepared for delivery and by whom.
Inviting and revoking users
Records when a user is invited to your Workshop account and when a user's access is revoked, allowing you to track changes to who has access to your account over time.
Adding and removing users from groups
Records when a user is added to or removed from a group. Because group membership can affect what users are able to access, these entries help you understand how access has changed.
Updating user permissions
Records when permissions are added, revoked, or modified. For modifications, the log entry includes details of exactly what changed, so you can review the previous and updated permissions.
Tip: If you notice a permission change that you did not expect, review the modification details in the log entry first. This will help you understand exactly what was updated before you follow up with the user who made the change.
