Two highly requested formatting improvements, now live.
You can now fine-tune how your text is spaced in the modern editor.
- Soft line breaks: Press Shift + Enter to start a new line without creating a new paragraph. This is useful when you want lines of text to sit close together without extra spacing between them.
- Paragraph spacing: Control the space between paragraphs from the line-height dropdown on any text block. New text blocks and documents default to 16px paragraph spacing. Existing content defaults to 0, so nothing shifts unexpectedly. List items are not included in paragraph spacing.
