You will learn
- How to find the Workshop plugin your admin published
- How to install it and connect your Workshop account
- How to use Workshop in a chat
- What to do if Workshop is missing or disabled
Before you start
Your ChatGPT workspace admin needs to add and publish Workshop first. If you're the admin, follow Connect Workshop to ChatGPT through the OpenAI admin console instead.
You'll need:
- A ChatGPT account in your company's Business or Enterprise workspace
- A Workshop account you can sign in to
- Access to Workshop AI Studio
Find Workshop in ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, select Plugins in the sidebar.
- Open the Your workspace tab.
- Select Workshop.
Note: If your admin set Workshop to install automatically, it's already under Installed. Skip to connecting your account.
Install and connect your Workshop account
- On the Workshop plugin page, select Install plugin.
- When prompted, select Connect.
- Sign in to Workshop if it asks you to.
- On the Connect to Workshop screen, review what ChatGPT will be able to do, then click Approve access.
- You're sent back to ChatGPT, and Workshop is ready to use.
Use Workshop in a chat
ChatGPT uses Workshop automatically when your question is about your Workshop data. You can also pick it yourself:
- Type @Workshop at the start of your message, or
- Select + in the message box and choose Workshop.
Workshop gives ChatGPT two tools:
- Ask Workshop answers questions about your company's Workshop data, using Cici.
- Draft Workshop Email creates an email draft in your Workshop account. It can't send or publish anything.
Note: Your admin decides when ChatGPT asks for your approval before using a tool. If you see an approval prompt, review it and select Allow.
Try it out
- "@Workshop how did our last campaign perform?"
- "@Workshop draft an email about next week's all-hands."
If Workshop is missing or disabled
- You can't find Workshop: your ChatGPT admin hasn't added and published it to your workspace yet. Send them Connect Workshop to ChatGPT through the OpenAI admin console, which walks them through the setup.
- It says Disabled by admin: ask your admin to turn it on for your workspace or role.
- Connect is greyed out: your workspace settings or plan may block it. Check with your admin.
