User permissions control the level of access a user has within Workshop, include texting.
Our permissions feature is available on Premium plans. If you're interested in using permissions within your organization, get in touch with your account manager or contact our team!
Different permission levels
Admin permissions have the keys to the kingdom! Admin users have full access to all features that Workshop has to offer. This includes visibility into the company's billing subscription; the ability to manage your company's data syncing, SSO settings and integrations; and assign permissions to other users.
Full access permissions grant users access to all features, except visibility into the company's billing subscription; the ability to manage your company's data syncing, SSO settings and integrations; and assign permissions to other users.
Limited Access permissions provide the ability to restrict sending capabilities on a per-user basis. With limited access, a user may be entirely restricted from sending text messages or viewing the company inbox. If the user is allowed to send text messages within your company, you do have the ability to restrict which distribution lists the user has the ability to send messages to. This restriction will filter the user's inbox to only view members of the distribution lists that they have the ability to send messages to.
Setting user permissions
Only Admin users have the ability to assign permissions to other users. All permission levels can invite other users to Workshop. Users invited by users with full or limited access will inherit the inviter's permission level.
